I have been fishing here in Arkansas for about 5 yeas but just now trying to get a little more serious about crappie fishing and I am looking for any help I can get.
Are there any specifics you are looking for or are you looking for general information?
Just general information I'm used to crappie fishing back on the Tennessee River
Do you have any idea to what area/lakes you will be fishing in Arkansas?
Mostly the shallower lakes like OverCup I live in Conway
Maybe some of the guys that fish those lakes will chime in. I live up in the northeast corner of the state so I'm not overly familiar with the lakes over there. One thing to think about since you are used to fishing the Tennessee river, you are real close to the Arkansas River. I'm pretty sure they fish real similar.
I'll give it a try thanks for answering
The Arkansas river is loaded with crappie once you figure out how to fish it, of which I don't, but I know guys who do very well. I don't know what kind of boat you use, but whatever it is be careful, you can be in 6 inches of water in a heartbeat, with plenty of hazards.
Several Lakes within a hour of your home that are good winter time spots .
lake Conway gold creek is one of the best crappie spots in the state..lots of guys on this site can vouch that....
Thanks for the help hopefully I can get back on the water after the holidays.
