Asian Carp??? Sorry, just had to!
Would like to know more information like does it look ok when in water under 20 foot. Are you running a second sonar at the same time. Does it look like that in 20 foot water when every thing is shut down except that sonar. and another thing is the depth on your sonar set to a deeper depth than the 20+ water you are in when it does this. But the first thing I would do is like Rickie said do a restore default on the sonar.
I have two Helix 7's and they both do this only when i get to deeper water and yes I usually run them both at the same time. I have not tried shutting one sonar down or have not paid attention to whether one is off or not. It does not do this all the time but it is annoying bc it takes up screen space and it's def not fish. Thanks for the advice I'll screw around with it b4 contacting Humminbird. The bow mount is US2
Crosstalk interference happens when 2 separate Sonar units are pinging the same frequency ...and each unit gets "confused" as to which returning sound pulse it's supposed to process data from ...

This is even more prevalent in deeper water, as the 2 separate Sonar beams get wider and overlap more under the boat ...
