Walk n water is a good lake...

It’s a good lake but only pulls 8-12 boats usually! We will all talk more about it at the classic but we’ve got to boost attendance in the south or let some of the south tournaments that have minimal turnout go!

Same as Rosalie, good lake, just turnout is poor..your right we need to boost membership..

Yep you'll probably lose some south teams. I know I get tired of driving over an hour to tournaments.

That’s what we have to talk about this weekend is ways we can boost attendance or if people would fish two tournaments a month on the “better” northern lakes I know it’s a hike for us but I personally much rather fish a tournament up there with 30 boats than one down here with 8-12! Doesn’t need to be one person calling the shots though needs to be a group decision! A lot of us want to see some new lakes on the schedule! Rodman reservoir and orange lake are a couple that produce solid 2lb fish consistently yet we don’t fish them! Also trophies for 1-3 and big fish is going to be discussed because people want more than a little money that it cost them to fish the tournament as a reward they want something to show and memories. Little things like that I think will help to boost attendance

Don’t want to loose any teams there has to be a happy medium! There’s no reason we shouldn’t have at least 15 boats at each tournament

Yep that would be good, another lake to be be considered should be Kissimmee.

I’d love to see one on Kissimmee but hard to get a open date at camp Mack to launch where there’s not a 200 boat bass tournament

Launch at Kissimmee state park or Grape Hammock.

Don’t forget to bring it up at dinner and will sure talk about it, I’d like to see it be the entire Kissimmee chain no locking through into Toho or the river

Coming to Fl In Feb, Where is Johns Lake thought I might make it to a tournament weigh in.
-
Johns Lake is located east of Clermont, Fl on hwy 50 - go out about 3 -4 mi from junction 50 & 27
as you GO OVER A HILL on your right will be entrance to Johns Lake.
-
You could have tournament on the Kissimmee using
Camp Lester - Kissimmee State Park or Coleman Landing down by old Shady Oaks area.
Camp Mack - you get run over on weekends - have tried it 4 times a number of years ago.
Or one year they held it at Overstreet Landing on East Side of Lake.
-
Is Sep. 21st, West Lake Toho, really on Friday? And, Nov. 12th, Santa Fe-Melrose, that is a Monday?

Thank you sir: My error - did not have calendar in front of me when making dates -
Will make corrections accordingly -
Again thanks for update
-
Wanted to make a couple of the weigh-in, so I added all the dates to the calendar, so I could plan for them. Instead of looking at the results and saying, "I could have made that, LAST WEEK!"
Looking forward to meeting you soon.
Howard

Really sorry to hear that - don't believe they had been in business more than 2 yrs - were still in the growing pains,
competitive pricing and being able to stock a shop.
Bait business is a tuff long hrs business.
Thanks for up update Up2Specks

Actually Harold it has been 3 years this month. F C took a big hit by the Hurricane in September. Been hearing slow going there, hope your doing well despite your slow down.

Bait store operation is slow(tuff) business at times - Very weather controlled - as well seasonal influx various fishermen.
Carrying multi amounts of inventory tailored to area. Long hours ....
Watched my Grandparents run Bait/tackle operation in Toledo, Oh for many years - Learned a lot when i was a kid - they had to be flexible - Grandpa run a commercial fish delivery to various meat markets within 75 mi radius of Toledo -4 days a week.
Pick up fish at commercial docks - Grandma would filet, package and Grandpa delivered according to what market ordered.
Grandma - on side ran a filet service for everyday fishermen on side - they would leave coolers with caught fish at store during the night- she would filet and package per pound for them next day (perch - walleye - crappie - bluegill etc)
Wish at times we had something like that down here - (after day of fish i'm whipped - then have to filet them)
Salt or freshwater -
Good luck John - I hope you will get back into Bait operation in near future
