I caught a few small bass and 1 good small mouth on live shad. I also had drum,catfish and a sauger. That thing had some mean teeth. It has slowed down big time from a few weeks ago. They have the water way down and that may have them on the move . Great day on the water.

I have to agree with fishing man,I went across the causeway(67 on Flint creek) and the backwaters are lower than I've ever seen and I've fished this area for 30+ years

I agree the water is very low and it is very clear out on the river, I believe you can see muscle shells 6' deep. Not so clear back in Flintcreek.Quote:

Boy that sauger will eat good. Just made some yellow perch last night (same family) and they were fantastic. Good catch
