Just passing along a massive discount that a buddy found. 12' BGJP's on clearance on Wal-Mart.com. $20 each. We both ordered 4. Best $20 pole I've ever bought.

These poles are pretty versatile, I wonder if I should just put line counter reels on there? Or are they not stiff enough to pull cranks, planer boards with? I have never owned any of these. :fish

I don't think they have enough backbone for that, but hey, give it a shot. I use Pst's for the higher speed fishing.

I looked and couldn't find them any where any cheaper so... 4 are in the mail. I figured Abu Garcia is a good name and these have 3+1 bearings and anti reverse. I have several Abu Garcia bait casters and like them pretty well.
