Enid Dam Store on the way to Wallace creek ramp.
There's a gas station on HWY 51 once you take the pope exit. They open at 5 and always have minnows.

Yep, I was in there last spring, walked up to the register and she asked how many I had, told her 12 dozen. She bought had a stroke cause I told her the truth, says the most anyone ever pays for is 5 or 6 dozen, paid for my 12 dozen.
Fact is if they realize they are getting screwed trusting fisherman they'll quit handling bait. If they dip em it's on them as to what they say I get but if I dip em I ain't lying about what I get.

Exactly why we have no honor system left. You walked in the door with integrity Rees and left with it, I doubt the others even walked in with it to begin with!
To be honest I was uncomfortable getting my own, rather not do it that way.

If you want to nit pick, the name is Enid Lakeside Store, 2570 Enid Dam Rd. 1-662-563-7055. They have always given me a good count on minnows.
Not nit picking at all. The name of the bait shop at Sardis is "The Dam Store".

There's a bait store like that on Kentucky Lake. I about fell out when she told me to dip my own. I got my 6 dozen and that's it. I'd rather weigh them if you have to dip your own. Takes the guess work out of it.
As always, Honesty is the best policy! We already have enough of the other option in this Country! jmho

Everyone knows that.
Yea I get minnows at the chuck stop so much they tell me to dip my own Minnows and I'd rather them dip them.
Chuck Stop off 51 near Pope. Great count.
I was down in September and the Shell station now gets the minnows. You are not allowed in the back room no more!! It seems to be quicker and easier.
I bought minnows at the shell station in Oakland last Friday morning and they filled my bucket for the price of 5 dozen. Went back Friday afternoon to buy more for Saturday’s tourney and they wanted to count EACH minnow and wouldn’t let me go in the minnow room. I left and bought my bait at the store by Wallace Creek. Got a fair count and will go back there next time. I’ve also got a good count in Pope at The Chuck Stop.

Bubba Moore at Lakeside Store at Wallace Creek always has given me a fair or better count.
