Crappie-gills-n-more will be donating a crankbait or longline guided trip on KYLake. Trip will be for 2 fishermen for 6 hours.
I would like to see this trip go to a newbie to crappie fishing or a visitor to our event.

I need some help! The manager at Cabellas said that corporate is now asking for a donations form. Do we have anything like that?

I don't know of any?
Corporate bean counters are wanting to know what's being donated, what it's worth, and to whom it's being donated, and for what "purpose" .... so they can deduct it from their taxes as a charitable case or advertising case or whatever. The Shindig, not being an "organization" in and of itself, would have no such form (and I doubt Crappie.com has one, either). You might ask the manager if he has a "blank" form that all that info could be put on & turned into Corporate. You might check with Slab, first, just in case he knows more about this kinda stuff. I solicited for prizes from a lot of different companies for the original Spring Fling & Fall Brawl get togethers, back in 2000-2005 ... and Chucky has done it for the most part since we've been having them at Green ... and no such request was ever made to me for any such paperwork, and Chucky has never mentioned any such request. They just wanted feedback, recognition, and customers.
when I was at Wal-Mart and the Mgr. agreed to donate a little for the shindig he just had to write down the info I gave him about what it was for and it was written off as advertisement
It’s so they can deduct the value of the donated merchandise as a charitable donation (tax deduction.) A simple invoice detailing the merchandise and signed by someone from both organizations should suffice for their need to file a 8283 form since Crappie.com is not a 501c3 non-profit organization. We did the same thing for charitable tournaments not associated with a national non-profit organization and it was usually someone typing out an invoice with prices as a Microsoft Word document and someone on both sides signing it.
I will bring some sinkers what is the most used sizes and types that are used on Kentucky lake. I can pour all the regular kinds. Let me know what will be good choices such as egg, trolling no roll and slinky weights.
I have some new baits from a new company named Pour House Custom Baits that is donating some of his new baits to help me get his name out in the crappie.com group. Small company not big enough for the retail stores yet. He makes a great variety of plastics for crappie and bass. I need an address to send them too, just in case I can't get there. These are some of the baits that I used this spring to put all those limits of Slabs in the livewell. Doug, PM me your address.
A PM is headed your way Kenny.
Has Russ told you when the Hang Gliding show will air? Us KY boys been on your butt for years to do a video! Looks like a show to remember.
Get on down for the Shin Dig. I'll guarantee there will be an empty seat for you at the Fruit Jar. I can't fish it but we'll get you on the water.
Cabelas came thru for us. Y'all are lucky I'm honest. [emoji16]

The sinkers that I am bringing will be for donations and not for sale would love to know what is used most so I can bring what will be used. I am not bringing any for sale. Somebody help
I use 3/8 oz double swivel sinkers with my spider set up. I push sile jigs which are 3/16, my set up is for the light biters.
I would say 1/2 and 3/4 oz is very popular sizes.
