Got a late start, but did ok on a couple brush piles. Had to go deep in the brush to get some with any size, purple/chart curly tail on plain weed less jig head worked the best. Probably could have had a limit, but lost several trying to get them out. Little breezy, but still a great day on the water. Attachment 276399

do you find curly tails work well when fished vertically as opposed to regular jigs? good day for you WTG
They seem to be working a little better than my tube jigs this year, just holding it steady with slight movement then let it drop and back up has been working pretty good, really like using them on a Road Runner head in the spring casting to the banks.
