Been away from from fishing for a few months. Lost my brother-in law a couple weeks ago to a short battle with cancer, and family is first. Hit horseshoe lake yesterday and it did not disappoint. Man, i sure do love to feel that thump

Nice catch! Thanks for sharing. Praying for peace and calm hearts for you and your family. I wrote a poem during a time of loss in my family about time and how it heals and applies to the promises God hold for his people through the resurrection. I thought this might be a good time to share.
Time
Time is a door through which we must enter.
If time were a season today would be winter.
Cold and dark a season of gloom.
Time is a door out of this room.
Time is a door you can believe in this thing.
Go to the door tomorrow is spring.
Spring is a time with good days and bad.
After the storms there is peace to be had.

Sorry to hear about the families loss. Those are some good looking slabs. The spider rigging bite is hot now as well. Give me a shout sometime, I retired this past August and can go anytime.
