Managed 12 keepers on tuffies today from the bank on wheeler. They turned on right at dark. It was hot as all get out but had some smallies keeping me busy until the crappie turned on.

The good Lord knows I love catching these slabs. Hopefully this shutdown at work ends early and I can try a few more times this week.

Never fails... I started fishing this spot 3 years ago during the fall and it's the only place around here that I know I can catch smallies from the bank. I'm there for the crappie but love catching smallies on 4lb test and an Ultra-lite!Quote:
