I sure wish I could but Mondays are out of the question for me. Thought it would be cool to see how much difference, if any, it made.
Sorry, I just asked the same question on off topic. Didn't know this was here. I would like to do it. Won't get another chance for 99 ys. :biggrin:biggrin
We'll be out on KY Lake. For what my clients paid for this trip they are getting 1st class everything.
Very poor scheduling on this one. The should have scheduled it on a weekend so the kids could be out of school and the adults would be off work. Maybe in the fall so it would be cooler. They should pick a weekend without a Nascar race or WWE event going on.

Our kids were out of school today with a permission slip from the parents. We had all the grandkids here today. Our daughter had to work, one son had to be at work at 3 pm.
I had the grill fired up with fresh oak and hickory to cook burgers and dogs.
We were in the totality zone with full eclipse for 2 minutes and 18 seconds. As I'm sitting in my boat with the family who bought my package deal, I'm wishing, for my part, I could do it once a year.
Looking back, I'm thinking what the heck was the big deal? The family who I took out left Jonathan Creek on what should have been a 3 hour and 40 minute drive home. Last I heard from them they were 1/2 of the way there and had been on the road 4 1/2 hours!!! Solid gridlock!!! We didn't feel the effect of all those people on KY Lake thank goodness.
I heard that getting thru Nashville was tuff with all the extra traffic

AAA had predicted unprecedented trafficking in lots of areas around the zone of totality

Was a tough day. I think all them fishes looked at the eclipse w/o those fancy glasses and couldn't see the bait. :)
Nashville is a zoo 24/7 without the eclipse.
Yo, news flash. The Eclipse lasted 2-21/2 minutes. ITS OVER YALL. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
