Been raining for the last hour at my house. Seems like this summer has been wetter than usual. Hardly 10 days go by without getting an inch or so of rain. Hate to see the grass grow but sure does cool it off.

We got 1/2 in overnight and ground still dry. Been bad dry here at the house for a month.
We got it up here in Tipton County as well. How does that affect the bite? Will it be worth going in the morning? Or does it even matter.

If you and the little fella plan on going back to Sardis this little bit of rain we got won't effect it much as far as substantial rise, not nearly as much as the front system we had push thru last day or two. If it was me I would let the pressure stabilize a bit and shoot for Wednesday earliest, my pick would be Thursday or Friday personally iffin' it was me :twocents Either way just get that kid out there or anywhere and fish with him as much as possible!!
