I was there last week looking for some pullin poles. I asked Lou what pole he used and he handed me a dead ringer I definitely would have no trouble spiderrigging with that pole.

I would love to try a set of Denali's but $75 a rod is just a little to rich for my blood! Maybe one day [emoji16]

I have been saying this for years- The Slab Shaker rods at Grizzly Jigs- 4 for $80 are hard to beat. Strong tips and take a lot of punishment.
Erin, like Ress said don't make the mistake I did. I let him talk me in to fishing with him using them poles. I now own a set. I'm a died in the wool southern crappie rod guy but them Denali' are best pole I have ever had in my hand.
Spider rigging. Good tip with lite weights all the way up to 3ozs of lead, good backbone and in the waves they really shine, pole bounce is more managable. I like the mount for the reel better too, titens down from the front instead of the back, you won't loosen it when handling the rod.
Can't wait to get mine in the water
Thanks John. You must have read my post before I fumbled fingered and deleted. Thanks for the info as I have been thinking about 2 more scrts but may have to give these denalis a look now. Are they good on a 3 oz.weight?
