Now that's hot Lfs - upper 90s here - if I get off the lake by 9:30 or 10 it's not too bad

what do you think bit the one fish ? cormorant ? we have a scourge of them here in the winter and it looks like a familiar bite mark
and btw is the one fish a hen red ear ?

Ok don't send the troops after me but do you ever keep and eat these and if so do they taste like regular blue gill or are they different. Just curious .

Ketchn - yep, cormorant. We get them here in the winter too. Yep again - hen red ear.
Boa - we keep smaller ones or gut hooks - they are delicious!
eh - Florida strain BG. We catch females that look like that they crossed with REs. Also have Green Sunfish that look like they crossed with BG.
