I talk to Josh last week, he's fine, just busy. He hasn't been fishing in a while as he turned his attention to the garden which worked out well. He even made some money and is planning a bigger one for next spring. As soon as the weather cools he will show up along with Ms. Williams and some beautiful fish. I hope I can plan a trip this year when they are biting. He's been reading the forum and will probably answer for himself soon.

Got it, will try to get you some out soon.
Some here got some satsuma, prickly pear, blackberry, and even some grapefruit jelly from me. Can't recall who got what. There were some special folks that received cellos though.
The grapefruit cello rinds are fermenting nicely after three months. Will bottle them up shortly. Just like the jelly, will have a bitter and sweet bite.
never tried any satsuma....I did try your grapefruit and it was good....I am not supposed to eat anything with grapefruit due to my meds, but I did try it. Thats the only restriction I have no grapefruit. Your blackberry jelly was good.
I more than thankful for the great jellies I've received from Dwayne and Randy. They were all good, even the grapefruit jelly. The cellos are medicinal quality, good for all that ails you. It's especially good for vertigo. Just notice in which direction your world is turning then take a bottle of cello and spin it in the opposite direction. Then when the bottle stops spinning, take 2 good swigs and you will be cured. I got that off the internet so it must be true. Bon Jour.

For some reason, folks tend to rag the local newspaper. They say it's "old news". Which might very well be case for them being online regular following what Trump or the Kardashians are doing. But, when it comes to local sports - they rule. We have superb sports writers here. Talking about the upcoming high school football season regular, each day a different team. Enjoy such things. They don't discuss if Johnny is taking a vitamin while on the couch.
We had sad news in our paper the other day one of our top high school foot ball players ( this was to be his senior year ) got too hot during practice and died a few hours later.

Very sad. Won't be the last. Also for those who don't know, they talk about local teams on the 10 pm news leading up to and during the season. Also usually have a program after the news on fridays , just for that reason. They even do that over here in the hills.
One year ago this weekend, we had our historic flood. What a hassle that was. Had to paddle back and forth across a flooded coulee for 10 days before I could drive across in two feet of water. Snakes were everywhere. We were high and dry on our "island" though. Ann was a trouper as always:

Back to it, got things to do.
Man, it's hot out. Don't mind the heat, but the humidity though. On the chain saw all day cutting up debris after the storm. Glad the chain saw decided to behave itself, didn't want to deal with that today. I did have words to it though before cranking (the words were rude). All done. Finished, taking a shower here shortly. Feel guilty calling it good so early.
Speaking of cutting down trees, I remember this:

Sad. Ann is inside making a courtbouillion for dinner. That works. Also told her it would be nice if I had fresh whipped cream on top of my berries this evening for dessert. She told me that I have to squirt the cream out of a can on top of the berries. I'll leave that alone, I'm tired.
Lol....i gotta quit laughing before i post
