Well time to start getting ready for spider rigging. I'm going to go with individuals and ditch the T bar holders. Any recommendations on which brand to buy? Thanks in advance!

I have a set (8) of Drift Masters, but am using the bases. Think just the rods are about $30-40 each new! Take $20 each.

Thanks for the offer reb, but would probably need those bases. Those the crappie stalkers??
Yes, got a shallow V on end to hold rods, great for spider/long lining, have to secure rod to pull cranks

I've got the Driftmaster T Bar now, I think I would prefer to have the handle be totally secured on the bottom, not crazy about the holders I have now very similar design. So I will pass on the driftmasters, thanks just the same rebranger. The Capps & Coleman widow makers look interesting, I was trying to look at some on a rail / track system at the bottom, not having much luck finding any of those.
I settled in on SpyderLok heads on a solid stand and for what I want and NEED they do great. I can spider rig, push hard or push cranks with them with no issues. Mine are solid at the floor and do all their moving from the head.
I have the widow makers on my boat. It was parked right behind us while we were talkin. You coulda played with them fist hand and seen what they were like. lol !!!
Tite loks all the way. I had a set of driftmasters and they were good, but no where near as easy to use or adjust.

Yep, he has em.. one thing i learned from my last boat, buy what you want the first time, bc if you dont you will settle with what you have and never be truly happy. Normally BOAT= break out another grand, but here in the last couple weeks its been boat, boat, boat, boat it seems like. Soon enough itll be just the way I like it!Quote:

No doubt ducker, that is what I have learned. I got the Ultrex TM, Helix 10, a Sidekick from Mr. Gene Saturday, need a another Millenium seat, a set of 8 C & C widow makers and 8 14 foot Denali rods and I should be set. I feel foolish sometimes spending so much money rigging a 16' tin, but I can swap all this stuff over to a bigger boat one day is what I keep telling myself. Hope one day when I grow up I can get me one of those Ranger 522's, looks like an awesome crappie fishing machine! In the meantime I misewell make the best of what I have.
