I Didn't Lie...

Said last Thursday's trip was gonna be it for a while thinking about maybe 2 weeks...it's been 4 days....is that long enuf.....I just gotta see that cork go down again soon....so, looks like I will be at Henderson again tomorrow (Tuesday).....they gotta turn on soon and ya gotta be there to find out....water still falling and should be out of the woods soon.....be by myself...single pole w/shiners.....that's just the way I roll....up at 4 .....Waffle House for breakfast around 5....launching at 6 AM.....

Well...I hope you do well, I'm at work thinking about fishing! Let us know how you do.

I'm wondering too! Had a buddy that had to go over the bridge yesterday for work and he said he has never seen that many boats down there fishing.

I caught a lot of small fish and only kept 6 keeper sacs....did a lot of scouting...water almost in the banks....caught on shiners and roadrunner....sacs on ice....pic later when I clean them....another week with water falling and fishing should be OK....

Guess I lied after all...kept 7 not 6....garbage day tomorrow...better clean them tonight....

Good thing about living in the country is I just fling the stuff in the field behind the house. Between the buzzards, coyotes, and coons the mess is soon gone. There is a ditch if I feel like feeding the turtles.

Glad you got out and saw some light at the end of the tunnel. I had 7 over here yesterday which was better than the last trip too. Heat not too bad it you get off the water before noon.

Going west Monday as the Mermentau gauge hit the magic number. Probably Henderson my second trip this week.
