Hmm..going on the disabled list

..again! As you know, i had my left knee done in Apr. Well, going to the hospital tomorrow to get a new right knee. Lucky me, 'eh? Gotta get this done, once and for all. Left is doing well..probably at 90 percent..still working on it every day. This stuff takes time. I suppose that it will take 3-4 months to get back to where I am at now. I do hope it will be faster this time, as the right is not as bad. :biggrin Gonna need some more ice. Perhaps I will be able to fish by fall..that is my goal. Note...Dees foot is coming along nicely too. No more big boot, just a post-op shoe now. later...bill...

Hope your surgery went well.

I had my left knee replaced in Jan and have my right scheduled in October. Had major complications on my left thigh related to an old water ski injury from 40 years ago. They slid the plates in my pelvis during surgery and pinched the nerve going down my left leg/thigh. I was in total agony for 3 1/2 weeks till they figured out the issue wasn't from my left knee---just like I'd been telling them all along.

Thank you, Larry. MrDux..I do hope that your recovery is going well. I can now sit here for a short while. Overall, it is going OK. Pain has been bearable most of the time, it just does not go away for any period of time to let me fully relax. I am sure those of you that have been down this road, can concur. It will get better. Main issue I had was my doctor being so happy with my quick recovery once they found my pain issue, they cut me loose a lot earlier than I had hoped and that cut off my physical therapy visits that were helping so much. I was only in PT for about 3 weeks. Lots of folks are in PT for 3 months.
