Took a road trip with the 5th wheel. And found fish tacos. Lol

I would say, around Mile Marker 1, on US 1. I can hear the Jimmy Buffet music! ?
Yuengling? Shouldn't that be a Margarita?
Took too long to get a table and was parched. Had to drink something! Lol.
Yuengling and fish taco went great together nonetheless.

Did not know they could get that beer way down there. We have to make a roadtrip to Tenn or Ms.
Nice! Yall taking the day trip to Tortugas?
Have fun
A little further than A DAY trip....conch fritters!!!!
Your in gewberville
When I saw the first pic I was thinking KW, but the boat name didn't register.
I lived at mm 61 for 10 years, applied for my SS benefits in KW.
It was much easier to get to Cay Sal than the Tortugas from where I lived, so I never made it there.

Great trip. The snorkeling was awesome particularly by the many pier piling at the 2 abandoned coal ship docks. If you can go the trip is well worth it. The fort was neat too. They got a gun, not a cannon cause its rifled, that shoots a 300 lb projectile. It's called a parrot gun. They also had a furnace to create "hot shot". The furnace was used to create red hot cannon balls which would cause much more damage when they hit their targets. Now we know where the term hot shot comes from, I think!
Anyone know what a loophole is, in reference to a fort?
Sent from my iPhone using Crappie.com
The original meaning of loophole was a long narrow window in the wall of a castle, through which arrows could be fired against attackers. It acquired its modern meaning in the late 17th century.
Yep. They had them between the outside door and the second door at the one and only entrance to the fort. They were used in the event the outside door was breeched, but they didn't use arrows.

I'm counting evidence of 6 DUI drivers within about 100'.
And that's just on 1 side of one street.
And its not just in KW, its everywhere down there.

Mel Fishers museum is worth seeing.
Key West! [emoji3]

Yep, we did go to that museum. Was pretty cool. I had my crappie.com hat on and they would not let me wear it normal. I had to turn it around cause I guess I looked like a criminal and they wanted to make sure to see my face. I thought that was weird but I guess there's a lot of expensive stuff in there and I probably do look pretty cagey, right!
