Looks like you might lower sensitivity. But you will find huge schools of Shad on many lakes as swell as lots of rough fish .
i would also ditch the fish symbols and learn to read the arcs and lines created by the bladders. the manufacturers will tell you the fish symbols do not always truly indicate fish (so, duh, why do they have them? makes no sense whatsoever). good luck. you might watch some utube regarding your new sonar.
another thing i would do is not show my coordinates if i was posting pictures. if you do spot a large group and say you caught some there, you won't be able to get your boat within 100 yards of that spot soon. just saying.....:popcorn
Looks like gar in Cox creek lake to me :Rofl
Tell me you didn't look those coordinates up! Lol

Hehe sadly ibmack is right... the lurkers will eat up any tidbit of info u will give them...Thats a good looking lake you fish there a lot? I've never heard of it... just goes to show there is soo many places out there to fish... Oh and your sonar pics seriously looks like gar to me that are off to the side of your sonar... but im far from an expert at reading sonars.
I don't fish there much, but it's so close to the house that I like to give it a try in the evenings. Never have much luck on it

GKBATTS just showed how easy it is and how it happens. Always keep tell tell info close to the vest. Tailgate shots of fish or table shots of fish or even a cooler shot after the catch only at best reveal the kinda pickup you drive or your brand of cooler, or just how nice a table you got. It only takes a very small bit of info, a recognizable land mark or a gps coordinate and so long fishing spot, take a number if you wanna fish there again.
Agree with Paul, I wouldn't use them lil fishies, every piece of trash will show up a fish and he is dead on about showing your coordinates being a bad Idea. my 2 cents
They is Right about the sensitivity.... From all the rains there is a layer of Debris around those depths above the shad lines, Because of the difference in the water Density it shows up as clutter
