Hey Reese, how much line do I need to let out to get 300's down that deep? I'm at Enid today on the black hardtop pontoon. Only got 1 keeper this morning, about to go back out again
Put you a weight in front of i, 1 oz, and let her back 55 to 60 feet running about 1.5 mph. If you can't run that slow let her on out some. Weight needs to be 3 foot or so ahead of the crank.Quote:

Added 1oz weights to all 8 rods. Trolled channel from mouth of long branch to bean creek at 1.5 to 1.62. Caught 1 keeper and a dozen dinks. This is the first time wifey had been trolling with me and I really need to catch enough to get her into it. Going back out in the morning.... Sure hope we do better....

I do, Grenada was the same last week, its better now. In Bean Creek this morning there was a line on the depth finder at 7.5 or 8 foot, solid line, saw the same at Grenada last week. When I got out deep did better, marked a ton of fish just not many hits. Went up toward Plum Point and there was a bunch of funky stuff floating on top, looked like it came from the bottom of the lake. No current hurts the bite too, it will pick back up tho.
