Let your motor down and get out in your yard with your remote and see ......check it out
Good question, was wondering same thing. Also to add to it. Does tour TM cutoff once remote is out of range? Or if you went overboard would the boat keep sailing away if the remote was lost?
It is tied to me..not sure about being able to stay in the boat...always have life vest on now..
100 ft.. Will go by pretty quick @1.8 mph
I figure it further than that but feel like you can count on that much and yes it would go by very quick. Know where the anchor button is and hit it, then regroup.
PS: don't hit the bunny rabbit button!!!!!!:yikes
Yall old geezers going to have to put seat belts in the boat for yall
Everytime I go with Mr Charlie I got to bungee strap, Zip tie and ratchet strap him into the seat so I don't lose him overboard
Don, why don't you do a live test and report back !
I figure if I fall off my Excel, the 10 crankbaits right behind it will keep my body close behind it. I put a ladder on the transom when we were rigging it but my fat butt couldn't swim fast enough to catch up then board using the ladder anyway. My luck my remote would decide to go to sleep about the time I hit the surface.
A older fella named Ken fished fairly often fished with a bit younger guy named Dave.Just about every time they fished Ken would fall out of the boat.It got to be a running joke because it happened so often.Dave would always say "ken lost his balance again "......
Rest his soul Ken passed away and Dave took another fella fishing.....Guess what he lost his balance and fell out of the boat too .
His story was Dave turned the trolling motor broadside and switched it on at high speed.......Poor Ken did not have any "balance" problem after all.....
Maybee you I-Link guys need a kill switch.
Is the remote water proof or does it die as soon as it hits the water?
Amazing, seems like it weighs a bunch.
Thanks
Inspector M..I actually thought about doing that, and check the inflatable vest also..Just haven't thought allot about it !!!
