My wife and kids surprised me with a new bloodhound puppy yesterday. Today was his first fishing trip. We kept 29 before we ran out of time.

Jasper is a great looking Dude I love all the Hounds breeds. I have a dachshund he just can't stand to be left alone when I am loading the boat he starts whining, I take him as much as I can, but he don't understand heat, to cold or I am going with somebody and he cant come along I hate looking into his eyes and leaving him behind. I always pet him and tell him don't worry buddy were going to get to go again, i will take you soon. And I will as long as he can make it. Sorry for your loss of Max. My wife did me the same way when I lost my last Dachshund fishing buddy. You are obviously married to a good woman like me.

CP, you are right about my wife. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I know I am not worthy. I hope you have many years of good fishing with your dachshund. A good woman, a good dog and a man has most all he needs as long, as he has God first.
