Order from amazon. They will be here Friday. Duo locks Size 1
Duo locks from Do-it are hard to beat on price. You need a catalog anyway....
What size is that one?
Looking at most things in the fishing world the larger the number the smaller it is. Duo locks are different for some reason. A size 0 is 13 mm long, max weight 26 lbs. A size 8 is 48 mm long with a 220 lb weight limit.
Here's a bit of a chart.
100pcs #0-#8 Fishing Duo-lock Snap Stainless Steel Nice Snaps Tackle Connector | eBay
You want the #1 in stainless. I get mine from Jan's netcraft or Barlow tackle. If yo can find a ride from here to you I could give you a pack.not coming that way tomorrow.
Sportsmans warehouse in Southaven has them if you go that way sometime.
Academy in Tupelo has them

I'm headed there this evening to get him some
E-bay for the bulk packs.
$3.10 for 25 packs at Do-it,plus your shipping.
Do-it is high on a lot of items but real reasonable on some.L-arm spinners is another very reasonable item among others...
Got it done
Cool, thanks
What yall do with em?
They make changing cranks out LOTS easier than tying knots and having to cut knots off of the old crank...
What size are you guys using? Are they easier to hook than regular snaps?
No they aren't easier but they free up some. They are way stronger

I use them all the time. Only exception is when I'm single pole jig fishing. All other times I have a snap tied on. I use lots of them.
I can't remember the size, sorry. Mine are about 5/8" to 3/4" long. If that helps

The next question from the guys who haven't used Duo-locks is "What size"?
Too small (#0) and they are hard to open/close...size 1 or 2 are both ideal for crankbaits.
Just my opinion and Thanks to Canebreaker for listing the above info...
I use either 1 or 2 after looking at the size charts
Just a suggestion....I get orange waterproof match holders from wally world for about 3 bucks. They have a screw-on lid with a rubber seal and are about 4" long.I throw out the matches and store my Duo-locks in one, barrel swivels in another, and 3-ways in another. They live in my crankbait bag's pouch.
Suggestion # 2 --Wally world ,and others sell rolls of 1" Velcro with hooks on one side, loops on the other.Cut it about 8-10" long to use as rod raps when transporting your poles.Usually put one on top and bottom.Keeps them organized and unbroken. All the old salty dogs (a complement) do it or at least know about it.
Looks like a double over hand loop knot would be almost as easy and still work?
"I probably use $5-10 worth per year."
At $2.16 per 100 that a bunch.
Crank baits don't run true with a swivel. Bass guys run a fast snap if anything. Adjust your knot if you have to. Just my 2 cients. You guys seem to be catching plenty so throw them pennies away
I don't buy them by the 100, and I've never had a problem with crankbaits not running true. I like them. The fasnaps... they are BAD when you have a tangle.... I tend to get lots of tangles. Lol
