I have ordered replacements from the manufacturer....They were better than original but pricey...

You can order the stainless hinges from manufacturers.

They mainly come on the marine style coolers

Looks like something I would do. If I can't make it work though it'll be in the dump pretty quick. Can't stand something broke or won't work like it's supposed to. Works and inexpensive BTW

I use old fire hose. It works great. The replacement hinges are far to pricey. Especially for a fish cooler.

I took an old leather belt. The results came out great. I like the leather belt better then the original.

Yep...used the leather belt before too.;)

Regular old garden hose will work
