I suppose it is on the main lake side not the small one where the camp ground is but yes it is energy.
Energy lake is the small land locked body of water. The bay there that is barkley lake is crooked creek.
There is a diffident difference in fish in both.

Folks check out Twinn Lakes Crappie Club on face book. Start time is safe light ( there calling it 5am ) until 12 noon this will get us off water before it gets real hot. Great idea. This also gives you ( buffalo 13 ) plenty of time to get back to your family.Lol
Had a blast fishing the Twinn lakes crappie club tourney today with Dean McCoy we flat caught the fish today! Thanks to Grandpa for sharing his crackers with Us after the fishing partner had depleted all of the snacks I had as usual .
Tournament report from Energy Lake tournament.
The Energy Lake tournament was held on June 10 th 2017 fish time was from safe light until 12 noon . The winners Tony Sheppard and Mike Sheppard had a whopping weight of 9.90 and big fish also of 2.21 . They where fishing meatgetter jigs tipped with a minnow on 6 -16 ft. Jenko spidertrolls with 10lb hi-vis suffix line. there best colors of the day was blue/chartreuse, purple/chartreuse and white chartreuse . They where fishing 4 to 9 fow 3 to 6 feet deep. They had to hover over stumps and brush to get bit while attempting to un hang other poles that's how tight they where holding, it is obvious this paid off for them . They had 10 keepers and only one short fish.
Tied for sixth place where Chris and Dean ( this is the only other guys I was able to get a report from. Lol ) they where fishing various types of jigs tipped with minnows and double minnow rigs they also where fishing stumps and brush (unfortunately they didn't try any meatgetter to jigs because Dean didn't have any ) and was mostly fishing from .5 to .8 and only caught 2 keepers that Dean liked a few seconds getting the net under and therefore was released before getting into the boat and 25 short fish. All in all we had a lot of fun and enjoy fishing with this great group of guys. Special thanks to Clifton Edwards for bringing Dean and I a pack of crackers a piece at the half way mark and then another pack at weigh in . If your looking to have some extra excitement look into this club and join on in you still have time to get qualified for the classic .
