My boat is setup with 6 rod holders off the back should I run 6 short poles or stagger with maybe a 6, 8 and 10 on each side, maybe the pictures will give an idea of my setup and y'all can give me some advice on pole lengths . ThanksAttachment 266589Attachment 266589
I would run 6, 10, and 14. That is what I did when I had a similar setup. Run the 14s at 90 degrees from boat, the 10s about 70 degrees and the 6s at about 45 degrees behind boat. That gives an extra foot or so between lines....

If you're gonna run planer boards, you need to run a medium heavy/heavy 7-8' rod on all of em. If you're not running boards the 4' spread is right. I run 16, 12, 8, facing straight out the side, and an 8 straight back.
