Wow!!! That's unreal
Wow, I could have fished from the lodge.

If you have to swim for it, is the all you can eat shrimp dinner less expensive?

HOLY CRAP
saw it last weekend, hooked up my boat to head to KS for the forseable future...Last time I saw the lake this high was July 1993.....and it was 10' higher. 24 years ago...hard to believe ive been down there fishing that long....we were putting in on the road above the first entrance into the parking lot!
geeze we used to have milfoil mats the size of a football field all over the lake...epic fishery ..it never came back after that flood.....nor did Smithvilles mats...the pavilion was a flooded out Bucksaw Ranger dealership...
Fished my first Crappie USA tourney on Truman I believe during the that 93 year. Remember the lake was way up and hard to navigate. We were lost for about the first hour and didn't catch many fish that day.
If you get by Clinton Lake up in Kansas the fish are doing well there. Try Coon Creek or Dry Creek.
we waded out of there sunday of spring camp in knee high water but thought it would start going down as the turbines of Truman Dam is going full out seemingly.
