Surgery
I'm going in for heart ablation surgery on the 15th. of May. for A-fib. They are also doing a flutter ablation the same time. Pulse has been 125+ for a few months. Surgery will be at Mclaren Bay Regional. It takes 4 to 5 1/2 hrs. Not sure how long i'll be there or the recovery time. Still planning on Crappie Camp if I'm able to make it.

That's the same type of procedure they did on me a few years back. Will be praying for successful results. I don't remember any recuperation time. They did everything thru femoral arteries in both legs so just small incisions. You'll do fine...you're too ornery to let it slow you down :)

Hi Gary, got home yesterday. Went into surgery at noon, and woke up in recovery room at 5pm. Everything went good. Just short walks around the house today & tomorrow. Then another week of not overdoing it. Had both sides of my heart worked on. I'm back in rhythm, and my heart rate went form 140's down to 80's & 90's. Feel a lot better than I did. Were planning on being at camp. Thanks.

Great news Larry! Carol will be relieved to hear all went well. She called Sandy last night but didn't get through. Can't wait to see you both at camp.

Don, Carol might not have been able to get through because Sandy was talking to my mom!! I'm not sure, but it is a good guess.
Can't wait to see you guys at camp.
Bring on the Koop's!!!
