I'm at the campsite, the water is coming up fast it's almost to the campsites on the lower A loop.
Water level is at 716.1 and the Grand Arm doesn't look terrible but the Tebow Arm looked like mud.

Well at least they walkway to the dock is level, my knees will appreciate that, we're staying at one of the kitchenettes. Never fails when we stay there, I always remember what I forgot in the truck just as I get to the room.:banghead
Well heck we can beach the boats right next to camp.

Was that by chance over there where I was last time Brian. I have a57
I think that was A60, not sure how high it will rise but the lower road will probably be under water tomorrow.
We had a camp a few years back that was about like this. Water was pretty high by end of week and closed the lower road on the A loop and a couple sites. I remember Rick and Dale tying the boat to a picnic table or fire ring about straight north of there campsite and across the road from little parking area and bathroom. Can't wait to get down and see everyone. May run down Thursday afternoon for a while. Then most of the day Friday before I have to get back for a family dinner. Saturday I will be around all day and evening.
Just looked at southwest power admin website. Looks like they are going to start holding water. No scheduled release for Tuesday.

They won't release until the flooding stops down steam
Looks like Spring Camp to me!!
Looks like more rain on Wednesday! We (Harold, Tim, Caleb, and I) are planning on coming down Thursday afternoon. We should be there by late afternoon. Try to get setup in the dry vs. wet. A043 is high and dry! Weather looks good Friday through Sunday! Fish on!
Looking forward to it no matter what as my campsite in the lodge should be ok. meeting all the folks is what it's about! weather is supposed to be just fine but we shall see how the fishing is, surely all you locals can help us get some thumps!
The water has slowed down, it's not up to the lower campsites yet, the water looks great with only a few small logs floating around.
The beer is also going down well. Lol
Were loaded and ready to convoy down tomorrow.Attachment 265334
Tell JR we will BACK down 92 to I-35 and may turn around at the 435 split when we speed up to 95MPH! I may need to go through a few McD's drive thru's on the way also. Pee at every exit....stop at all Amish stores and of course antique on the way!
No Backing up! I hate McDonald's ! I am an antique . If you need to pee that much you Need to see a Doctor ! The 95 mph I can do !!!
We've got our route planned out and it's not flooded, the boat is mostly loaded up and ready, the dog is clean, I'm baking like a fiend tomorrow night and then we hit the road Thursday morning. Can't wait!! It's been too long since we've been to a crappie camp!

Dog has to be clean before he can ride in the boat......:biggrin
woo hoo Spring camp is upon us and cannot wait!
Well flat poured over night and early this morning but it's starting to lighten up. The lower A&B campsites are starting to get water on them and the boat ramp is pretty much gone so you might need some knee boots if you are laughing a boat. : )
Got to love Crappie Camp! It's always something, but wouldn't want to be anywhere else. ?? OK maybe in the Bahamas on a beach.
I mean launching a boat. Lol
I would not have as much trouble getting up that hill as much as normal??
Fixing to head that way in about 30 minutes......see yall this afternoon sometime

Travail safe !
I am at Stockton right now. Plan on fishing this morning and then headed to Truman this afternoon. I will have the cold ones ready.
Went by the Tebo Arm on the way back to Windsor to get more firewood and Windsor Crossing is closed and locked up.
We are heading down this evening. Hope to get there before dark to launch the boat.
So far so good, we've made it to Dexter. Looks like we're gonna be clear on Hwy 60 to Springfield except for one spot that I hope will be open by the time we get there.
