MinnKota is way quieter
I think Minn Kota is hard to beat in all categories.
I just put Minnkota Ultrex Ipilot on my boat, love it , very quiet
Love my Minn Kota
Had a motor guide, made noise in the brackets when you start and stop. Never could get it to stop.
Replaced it with minnkota and it's whisper quiet. [emoji106]

I have Minnkota because thats what was on my first boat! Got used to the MK foot pedal and didn't want to change!
Stay away from motor guide wireless, unless you want to buy mine [emoji2]

I like Minn Kota
I've been a Motor Guide user for as long as I've been fishing but after talking with Minnkota users and doing some research, I've decided to go with the new Minnkota Ultrex with ipilot for the new War Eagle stick steering boat I have on order from Ludwig Marine in Farmerville. It's pricey, but if the "Spot Lock" GPS feature works as advertised by holding you within a 3 foot radius regardless of current or wind, it will be worth it to me....I figure if you'll soon be 78 years old, you can get away with doing some stupid things !:fish:fish:bash:biggrin
Love my Minn Kota ----- had Motor Guides before but really didn't have any problems with em ---- just decided to try MK and now staying with em
ive always used minnkota and never had a problem. however, i like any brand when i am in someone elses boat!:Rofl
My 65lb Minnkota is quiet and has plenty of power for my 17 ft. Xpress
