Heading to Reelfoot later this week. Will be staying at Cypress Point. Not many posts as to how the fish are doing. Anybody with some knowledge as to how they are doing down there would be great!

Not sure water temp is now. It was mid 60s first of this week. I haven't had time to go but a buddy guides on the lake and said he's catching them jigging on a 1/32 or 1/16 oz red - chart jig tipped with powerbait. They also catching them on plain minnows with a real small bobber. With a small, small bobber u can see them bite easier. U be surprised how many will suck the bait in, hold it for awhile and spit it out. You never know it lol. Sorry so long just thought I'd share that in case u didn't know it.

Thanks Tracker81. I will put it to good use.
Did you see this coming weeks weather for here yet?

Yes I did. Looks warm with maybe some strong afternoon storms Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
I can't give you a report, but we have a group that will be there Thurs. through Sun. trying to figure it all out between storms :) We are staying at BlueBank. Good Luck!
I'm hoping it is not as bad as the weather guys are making it out to be.
Rained lil today and rain again Wed or Thursday is 80% then sat and Sunday is 70% & 80%. As long as it's raining and no lightning I usually catch alot. If it's lightning I will dry dock the boat getting to the truck. Was out there one day it started snowing and caught like 70 in couple hrs if quit snowing and not another bite. Tried it with rain and it works to. Just letting yall know. Just watch for lighting. It can be bad here at times.

Fished today. Caught my limit. Had to come out for about an hr do to lightening. But fished through tue rain. I actually enjoy fishing in the rain. Seems like it gets them in the feeding mood lol
Totally agree; i love fishing in the rain. I've even fished through lightening storms, which was stupid I know! We've had our trip to Reelfoot planned for months and the anticipation is so thick you can snag it with your jig! So, we plan to get wet this week unless it is all out thunderstorm.
