What part of the country you from?
I would assume from the site name that he-she is from the Mephis, Tn. area. Those cold water gills should be good eating. :)
I'm from memphis tn, those were caught from a local farm pond
Where were those fish Enid or Sardis

marabou, us southern boys also eat these,,my son and i caught these at grenada lake ... recent cold snap this weekend seem to have reverse affect on the crappie bite today.

'CAUSE THEY DELICIOUS!!! thats how they got so popular to begin with. til ray scott seen a couple thousand dead on the dock after one of his early tourneys, there was no" catch and release" bass fishin. just catch and eat!:DQuote:
