Untitled lake 4/8 and 4/9

Fished a new lake this weekend for the first time. No crowds at the ramp Saturday. Ended with 5 and a catfish on my afternoon scouting run.
Got on the water about 8 today and back to where I was picking up a few fish yesterday. Tweaked my approach and brought home 26 today. Wind was brutal after about 10. Always fun to fish a new body of water and do pretty good. Looks like some clear water. Reminds me of an oxbow lake. Either or. Good day on the lake. Looks a little choppy but nothing like Sardis!!!! :)

That was before the white caps came! Ended up being a roller coaster ride! At one point had my tm on 10 and was only moving 1.2mph instead of the usual 2.5... could go 1.9 with the wind, tm off!
