I used a homemade one a few weeks ago, but I'd like to know what are some other good ones to try? I usually inject with Apple Juice, then cover the outside with mustard so the rub will stick.

I always have the ingredients around, so I usually make my own. I did try an applewood rub, I think it's McCormick and it was pretty good.
Fat Boy Sweet Natural rub.
Emeril's Essence on my butt
try injecting with pineapple juice. Is real good. Then i spray the outside with it then apply rub.
I stopped using a pre-made dry rub on boston butts. I coat the entire butt with a whole lot of yellow mustard, season with coarse kosher salt and coarse black pepper, then pat on dark yellow brown sugar as thick as you can get it. After about ten hours on the smoker there is absolutely zero taste of mustard and that brown sugar caramelizes into a bark.
For chops and chicken we like Big Kevin's Bayou Blend.

I usually make my own using black pepper, white pepper, cayenne pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, everglades seasoning, natures seasoning, dry mustard, lemon pepper, paprika, basil, thyme and double all that with brown sugar. Inject Raspberry Vinaigrette then rub and wrap tight in cling wrap overnight and then another rub about an hour before cooking.
I know the purist suggest you shouldn't inject but I use a mixture of apple juice, Lea and Perrins, salt, and water. I periodically use different rubs but my favorite is called Dizzy Dust.
Look on the internet for "Best Ribs in the Universe". I've used this for years and really enjoy it. Plus, it makes enough to last for a summer.
I second BAD BYRON"S BUTT RUB
50/50 Medium grind black pepper and sea salt
Texas oak run at 250-275 with a clean stack* to 195F internal, rap it and rest it
Butt rub is good, the other one I used to use isn't made any more. I have made several types before, I need to make a batch of some for the summer.

I will say Butt Rub also. Kinda hard to beat
Bad Bob's butt rub for me!! Bad Bob's BBQ
I have never had a bad rub, but I like using both T Bones, " sweet heat" and a dusting of Rendezvous.
Go to Walmarts and buy the Mccormick pork rub. It is the best rub that I have found. I use it on my ribs and butts. If you want good ribs, let them marinate in apple/pineaple juice for several hours before cooking. And please, when it comes to bbq, only take advice from the folks close to Memphis. Those other states aint got a clue on how to fix good Q :fingerdance
I'm kind of a Head Country guy.
I started using Bad Byron's Butt Rub when we were living in Lower Alabama. Now I take about 2/3 Butt Rub and 1/3 Big Kevin's Bayou Blend seasoning from NOLA School of Cooking and use the mix. There is usually mustard and brown sugar involved when I've got butts on the smoker for a caramelized bark.
I like the mustard, Black Pepper, Cayanne pepper, Salt and brown Sugar rub and I smother mine with "Blues Hog Tennessee Red sauce to serve/eat.
