Yellow Perch. Great eating.
How big do they get?
Biggest yellow perch i have ever seen is 10 to 12 inches
Yellow Perch.
Caught two at Bay Springs yesterday.
Mighty fine eating.
It's not a saugeye, but there are some of those in Bay Springs too, along with some smallmouth bass, another "northern" type of fish.
I've fished all up and down the waterway and Bay Springs is the furthest south I have caught Yellow Perch.
Anyone caught them any further south?
