Hot day on Wylie

Spotted a few Crappie fishermen running all over the river today. Met ofishlbizness on the way in from up river on my way out of the Ebenezer landing. Then, I saw Ck cruise up BA in front of me and looking around and then, there was Brett coming in to the BA landing from out in front of the pier on BA. Hollered out to cutbait on the pier. I didn't know which way to go but I made the wrong choice by staying in BA. Caught only a few crappies and several fair size perch. Biggest was 11 inches others were chips. Longlined for most part and then tight lined and that's where I got into some fish. 25 foot was good for a while. Rolled up reels and got off the water around 5 pm. Miss Lara will be happy tonight. Maybe all these crappie guys will leave a few for me. Had a good time though. :fish

Good to see ya get a few. That Wylie Crappie Attack Team you saw dont leave nothing for us rookies ! Hope the weather holds rest of week. Want to hit em again Sat. a.m. Gotta take granny out for special dinner Friday. After 28 years she aint killed me yet. :deadhorse Maybe will see ya Sat. Oh yeah , Dentist said I need to bite on something tough to work out these plastic teeth. Ya wanna volunteer ? :Rofl

You will have a good bit of company on Saturday bud. Crappie Usa is having a tourney on wylie sat. That's why some seen so many boats today.

Ron, glad you found a few willing to take the bait. Had to work, maybe a day next week I'll be able to get out. It's been a month since the boat was wet

Ron you will have to pull the trick John has been known to use, stick a gsp chip on their boats to keep a record of their fishing holes!! :)
