You must be doing something wrong.
They did good on everything but the skin . They wanted to dig into skin so I tilted up a little then noticed meat on skin .

I have never had that problem...change your blade angle a little bit...I actually hold mine fairly flat when taking the skin off.
I'm gonna give them another try .

what "G" said. it also helps if you have the handle of the knife off the edge of the table that way the blade is flat as possible. don't give up on that shark blade.Quote:

Had the same problem first time I used mine. It takes a little practice but they really good once you change your angle of attack.
Haven't heard of shark blades. Is it electric knife, blades or what?

Used mine today and no problem.
I will sell mine to anybody that wants them. They have filleted one fish, and I about threw them in the garbage right then.
Best blade so far for my American Angler Pro has been the 9" fisherman's blades by Mister Twister. Runs like a dream!

Got my Shark blades in the mail today. Hopefully, I will be using them tonight, and can report on how good they are!
Hmmmm? Shark blades won't lock into the HD Rapala, because the little holes near the end are smaller than Rapala blades!

I actually had to dull mine a little bit when I first started using them because they would try to grab the skin. After doing that no more issues and they cant be beat. But even with them grabbing skin I wouldn't miss any meat.
My old blades clean the skin way better than the shark blades .

My hands cramp after a while and everyone was bragging on them . I have a mister twister now and it way better.
