What do you guys consider to be the best electric fillet knife?
I use american angler , I bought some blades off amazon for it called " Shark Blades ", i like the small diameter of the blades.

Prefer the Mr Twister Pirhanna (sp) model. Blue and white one. Don't care for Amer Angler, just doesn't fit right in my hand.
Iv got an American Angler that Iv had for years. I just purchased a Rapala Heavy Duty and Im ancious to see how it works. All in all it feels great
I have 3 mr twisters now that are getting old. Reasoning for new electric knives.

Had american angler for many years and it finally died after great service. new ones were outrageously expensive and had terrible reviews since they make them in china or wherver. Tried two different rapala's and both were terrible and returned them quickly. bought a new off brand one that is ok and also use my regular kitchen electric knife which is fine.
Have seen those Mr twister's may try one too.
I've tried the Mister Twister but prefer the American Angler.
American angler was my favorite. I own 2 of them and have a few old ones for parts. Last year I bought the rapala heavy duty and it is my new favorite. The power is ridiculous and there is a slight learning curve if you aren't used to it but you will be faster with it once you get used to it. It fits the aa shark blades which is awesome as they are hands down the best blades made. The other rapala knives are junk though

I've never used an electric knife, but was curious to know if anyone has used the "skinz it" electric fish skinner / deboner shown on the outdoor channel

I have an American angler but needed a second one. Was at academy the other day and they had a rapala on sale for 50% off that I picked up. Come with 12v plug and 110 adapter, plus 2 sets of blades. I think it is being replaced by the battery powered model. For $30 I figured I would give it a try.

I had the chance to use one made by Cuisinart. Really good, fish sling'in knife. Rechargeable battery lasted about 30 min.
1. As stated i use the Mr Twister Piranhaa, but i know a few guys that just go get the B&D at wally World and swear they are happy. As with all things, in the eye of the beholder--and I can't hold the Am Angler that lots of guys like for good reason.
2. Skinzit--friend bought one and wants to come down and give it a run. IDK-I really struggle with the benefit of it. I mean you already got the knife right there on them why not just push on thru the fillet?
10 dollar black and decker at Walmart. Lasts a couple years, than you replace it with another 10 special. Can't beat it!

I use a cheap kitchen electric knife. Like around $15! The biggest difference is probably that I rarely clean double digits at any one time!
I've used Mr twister since the 1980's and I still love it
Another Black and Decker user here. I really like those AA Shark blades but can't see spending $120.
I'm with several others! B&D from Wallyworld! Blackhawk is correct - just had to buy one this year - $13 and some change. They typically last me 3 - 5 years depending on # of fish cleaned. Once the blades dull or something breaks on the motor side, pitch it and go get a new one! Works great!!
American Angler Blue with three different blade sets. $30 during their Cyber Monday sale last year. Have been very pleased so far. Still use my Dexters for larger cats and saltwater fish.
