Doing the work now for later!
I finally got a chance to go and put in some brush piles, most of the folks I know have already gotten there new piles in or there old ones replenished several weeks back mainly during the colder Winter months, but these did go in two days before the official day of Spring so technically it was still winter even though it was like 82 degrees.
This was a lot harder work than I remembered it being in the past, the morning started with loading up with concrete blocks which weighed 32 lbs. each, thought it would be useful to know so I set one on the scales. Then we broke out the chain saw and went to work on trimming a few peach trees and removing some apple trees that were to close to a fence line. Since most of the brush/small trees ended up being much larger after they were cut than before, most were 14' to 16' we decided to focus on deeper water structure in the 20+ range.
Below are a few pictures form the events of the day!
