Hey guys. Who is fishing the ACT next weekend at Grenada? I will be there beginning this Monday. Rode by several ramps today and the lake is full of folks. I sure hope they understand that as far as ACT, its OFF LIMITS until Monday.

I will be at the weigh in but not fishing. Dint have enough time to pre-fish.
I think it is a great rule, but I am interested to see how they enforce it.

Figuring out how to catch a fish is one thing. Figuring out how to catch a big fish is another. Hats off to those guys who do it on a consistent basis.
I need a partner for this one. My new partner lost his grandmother yesterday and can't make it this time.

Guys there are some huge fish coming out of Grenada now. May be some record weights set.
How many teams got registered for the ACT??
I heard they were expecting 60 boats, don't think we will see any record stringers but do think you will have to have 15.5 to be in the mix. Not sure if the registration time is central, eastern or mountain time but 9 pm is swiftly approaching.
Yes I think its over. I saw several of the regular guides yesterday and today so that means they not fishing it. I had figured they would be fishing it but I know the rules cuts into their paydays. I understand that too !!!
Rees I saw 3 catches yesterday and 2 today that was well over 15 pounds. One of the guys that paid the guide said they had a little over 17.
Pretty sure that is part of the reason for the rules, killed me sitting up here overlooking Turkey Creek and can't wet a hook, that's over now and if the rain lets me I will fish a while Tuesday morning.
Yes it was tough for me too just looking. But the wind was pretty high both days this weekend.
Good luck to you !!
You too, see ya Thursday evening.
Haven't read the rules Rees, What does it state? Wish I was fishing it! Good Luck to everyone!
One rule is you cannot fish the lake 2 weeks prior to the tournament. Can only practice beginning the Monday on the week the tournament is held. A rule is a rule, I am not pushing the rule close at all.
It also says you can't ask or obtain any information from the lake.
67 is pretty good I guess. Less teams to beat to win. I think they were wanting to get 100 boats to make the payouts work but 100 boats is going to be hard to get with the rules that are set. I like the rules but I am retired and can fish almost anytime.
It aught to be a good one. Sure hate I will be working.
Someone has got to police it to make sure the rules are followed.
Probably the best way is polygraph the winners..that is a pretty sad statement on things...There used to be an honor code among people in general...now .....not so much
