I had thought about selling transom mount 360 concerned about using it in shallow water and damaging it, well we wished a lot of 2 to 3 feet of water this weekend without any issues and will keep it.

Can't say enuff about it, got to learn to do screenshot where the pics are a lot better. Never fooled with the SI, just used the 360, pretty much all I use now.
The screen shots would be nicer.
Much nicer, didn't have time to play with it but I will. I can't see any reason to go to the trolling motor mount, dang bracket to fit on an Ulterra is 250 bucks!!!!!Quote:

360 is sweet,fished with a friend that has one on the bow on ricky ducer apperatus.We fished an area we have never fish before and I marked stuff at the console and he was at the bow marking helping and we caught fish.I would have to say it was a pretty good day,78 high the day before and 48 here yesterday and fishing new water the 360 made it easy.Im a lowrance man,but the 360 is awsome[emoji12]

Listing my transom mount 360 and bracket sometime this week. I thought I would list it here and on BBC board.
Just learned to grasp DI not long ago, still figuring out SI think I just about have that nailed down. How much different is it to make out whats on the 360 screen compared to side image? And Rees is that a crack on your new 12 screen in the top right corner or is just the clouds, background illusion?
I fished with Ree's back in the fall when he had it hooked to a 1198 or 1199. Took me about 1 1/2 to figure out what it was showing and how to decider it. But once you understand what you are looking at it is awesome. I can't wait to see what it looks like on that Helix unit. If I could afford it one would be on my boat right now.Quote:

Hey, Rees! SI is in the past, yes BUT, you love cranking.....and when cranking, you can see a bait ball or fish before your cranks get there 100' behind you! We had just moved to deeper water in this picture so I had not lightened the screen on 360 yet. I also didn't have the offset correct thus the difference in depth readings. 360 is at a different depth than trolling motor transducer you can see the difference in water temps. The side Imaging on left side appears stretched due to transducer being on trolling motor which I had just moved to the right. You can see the log to the left on 360 that we were approaching. The logs and limbs on Side Imaging had already passed by.
