Grand Bayou 2/24/2017
Pastor and I fished today but our fish were not caught in deep water. Everything we caught in deep water was 8 inches or less and a few Bar Fish mixed in. So, we headed to shallow water on the North End. We found them in 5 FOW fishing 2-3 FD using Popsicle with a Pink Head. Water Temp. was 68-70 Degrees. We kept 10, lost some good ones, and 1 Bass. Here's a few pics.

I had a great time yesterday, Brother Warren. We will have to do it again soon. We ended up with 10 crappie and one bass. Only 2 of the crappie were females. Eggs still a few days away from being ready, in my opinion. But those old males are ripe for the picking. I see that you didn't mention that I let the biggest fish of the day flop out of my hand and back into the lake. Thanks! :yikes :dono Maybe he will be by that same old tree when I get back over there.
