Fish for about 12 years and catch several that go right at 1.15 oz! Put out some brush piles and then finally you may hang into one of these beast!

Our total for Saturday afternoon at Bundicks was 15, the other 4 were given to me by Jlaughlin, he had caught 27 earlier that morning that he gave to his fishing buddy when he left at 2. Dad and I fished from 2 to 6. Most fish were caught over brush piles fishing 10-11 feet deep in 15 fow. The bottom middle and right fish went 2.1 and 2.0.

Good post Shadow. Wish I still had my Dad to take fishing. Good looking fish. There are a lot of folks that say they have caught 2lbs but don't have scales to weigh them��

You are absolutely correct Randy! I have said that for years! And I take my dad as much as I can b/c of all of you guys that don't have your dad anymore so I am trying to give him back some of the memories that he gave me as a kid. As you can see the scale was on the front deck of my boat. Johnny and my dad both witnessed the size though, even weighed the first one on Johnny's scale also to make sure it was 2!

Awesome mess of fish and 2 lbs is huge !

Feels so good, doesn't it? Nothing like a haul of hogs, and with your dad. I want to get my dad to come down and get him on a mess of slabs. He loves some crappie fishing but doesn't go much anymore. Our time is getting shorter everyday and the opportunity to make more fishing memories is too. That's the kind of day everyone would be proud of. Congratulations!

Yea he does that occasionally! lol I caught one of the 2 lbers off of my new top and the other one off of a brush pile that has been there for years.
