Man that's perty, gonna have to check it out in the morning looks like.
Wow that's neat!
How do you fish in crappy conditions like that? No wind...no rain? You should stay home....
Lots of people fishin today. Didn't see much catchin, though. Ended up with 3 keepers.

that is nice call me Iwanna if you ever have an empty seat :biggrin
For me, when the sun popped out, combined with the slick water, it had them super shallow, like less than a foot and a half deep in 6-8 fow. Let at least half a dozen sows get away that would smash my jig and get slightly hooked in the corner of their mouth. A few throw backs and some hits from fish that I never got a visual on means I paid $70 for my fillet-o-fish (singular) today.
I caught all three of my keepers late. Fished 4 hours before I found em. Planning to start this morning where I stopped yesterday. Maybe I found em?

Had a buddy caught some good uns at Nader yesterday. I sold him a new boat a month or so ago. Red bay boat. He smoked em.
could'nt have ask for a better day to be on the water.there was't a parking spot left on choctaw when I got there.
It's like golf. Anyone can hit from the fairway, I try to perfect my game by hitting in the rough and behind trees! Not much challenge on a calm Nader!!!!! ;)

I'm not sure I have ever fished a calm Nader......In 40 years !!
It still winter yet, another month
Last time I drove 81 miles to Choctaw waves were running half way up the ramp when I got there . Weatherman said 5-7 . I am gun shy for sure . :biggrin
i usually add the wind forecast together... 5 to 7=5+7
Beautiful weather can't ask for much more than that
