Jim and I fished Oconee today out of his small G3 john boat. We fished the river channel and flats adjacent to the channel. The bite was a bit slower than it was earlier in the week and the water temperature was back down to 54 degrees. Jim pushed 6 rods out of the front and also pulled two rods out of the front. I pulled 6 rods out of the back. Some of the pulling rods had a 1/16 jig head and a 1/16 oz sinker, others had double 1/16 oz jig heads and some were rigged with 1/16 oz and 1/32 oz doubles. We ended the day with 29 good fish. There was a good group of people on the water today. We are all blessed.
