Spider Lok mount

I am going to try rigging with 4 rods. I bought the spider Lok system and it's pretty nice!

I can't decide to mount it on the left, right or middle. I am mounting a finder on the front as well. For the guys that rig, what is your preferred area to have your rods? Any help is appreciated.

You don't want to have to reach that far to grab a rod, from what I see in the pic. Lot of things to consider. If you move holder closer to your seat, you lose pole length. Do some research before drilling. There is a video on YouTube about rigging boat for spider rigging I found helpful. Try to look at other folks setups.

This is how I mounted mine for a Spyderlok 4 rod holder.

The pic makes it look further from the seat for some reason. In that spot, it's an arm reach away.

I'll search YouTube for the video.

Naw,..........Lol! the outside bases were mounted for a fishing partner (wife, grandkids, friend)I. The center base is for me when I am fishing alone. I have since purchased a slide mount base for the far left; this enables me to move the Spyderlok towards the center for TM deployment/ storing without removal. There is an additional set of base's on the rear deck and a set of Spyderlok 3 rod holders.

I tried the rig out for the first time and it's pretty cool. The wind was blowing pretty hard so it made boat control pretty difficult.
