My good friend,Mac McCrory, passed yesterday losing his battle with cancer. Some of you that frequented Wappapello may be friends also. He was associated with the VFW down there as well. Had a trailer above Redman. We usually were up around Chaonia, Lost Creek, etc. We always went to Grizzly each Jan. Hope he's puting the Wally Wiggle on some slabs today. RIP friend.

Sorry for your loss! It will be 3 yrs in May that my fishing buddy passed, I miss him like it was yesterday! Prayers going up.
Hate to hear that. Not that it helps but you're not alone. Buried my 21 year old brother just over a year ago. Honesty hurts but contrary to what some may tell you, it doesn't get better with time.

Man that's a low blow hang in there and realize he is not fighting anything any more no sickness no nothing. Prayers sent for all of you.
So sorry to hear this. Cancer is a bitch. It takes to many people way to young. The feelings of loss ease but don't go away. You always have the memories. My mom has been gone 3 1\2 yrs. now and I just ran across her drivers license.

I lost my fishing partner a few years back. It was my grandfather. Time spent on the water will definitely get you thinking about it, but what happened with me is more time I spent out there thinking about it the more I started to appreciate the good times and my memories turned to positive thoughts. Now it's like he's out there with me and nothing but smiles when I think of him.
Anyways, hope my experiences can help.
