Lake Anna trip on February 8th yielded over 125 crappie. The fish were all male and moving up in to the shallow water. I caught the fish in 5 to 10 feet of water on jigs and minnows but only 25 keeper size crappie between ten to 12 inches. Water temps started around 46 degrees and ended up near the 50 degree mark. Jig colors were smoke, Arkie electric blue, and shad color. All fish were caught in the upper end of the lake near the creek beds. Sorry but no pictures as I am just learning to navigate this site.
