What's your guys best colors in April? Iam a black&pink guy!
white/chartreuse. blue/chartreuse. I've been using midsouth tackle skirts years. I like big skirts.
It can vary from morning to evening and day to day. I try to have a good many in different colors.
My favorite is - yellow/bright orange with a black head.
Same as it is in May, June, July, etc. Anything with chartreuse. Seriously.....

Everyone is going to give you THEIR favorite color combos. The fish, well they want what THEY want and that constantly changes with the conditions. A plain Minner works most of the time. It's ALWAYS the right color. The rest is trial and error. Anything and chartreuse is the best answer so far. [emoji4]
If you have boxes full of jigs, I guarantee you have the right colors. Figuring out those colors is the hard part on a tough day. [emoji1303]
For jig colors......The Nimrod Special works for me most of the time :biggrin and if they don't like that I break out the ScottV special :biggrin
I was always a Black and Chartreuse guy, but in the springtime I have alot of luck with Blue and White also.
The jig in your aviator looks like a good one to me. Single poling shallow water you can catch the males with about anything u put on there unless they been in there a while and there banged up. When they get those sore red mouths u got to feed them exactly what they want. Females are the same way. if I'm not getting a good crisp thump I will keep changing until I find the one that's getting nailed. U will find about a half dozen diff combos that u like and use on a constant basis. The other 300 in the box generally don't see daylight all year.
